With applications for Elev X! Ignite increasing by 23% since Batch 11 and more than doubling year over year, NEC X is making strides in building a fertile ecosystem for tech startups. What Elev X! Ignite Offers
Elev X! Ignite provides an immersive, six- to nine-month experience designed to fast-track early-stage founders from ideation to seed-readiness. The program offers a unique combination of NEC’s engineering expertise, R&D resources, and startup mentorship to help founders hone product-market fit, validate concepts, and attract early customers.
In addition to funding, startups are given access to NEC X’s innovation team, as well as a network of coaches, mentors, and industry experts. This strategic collaboration allows for the rapid development of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), Proof-of-Concept (POC) testing, and customer discovery. NEC X’s program also emphasizes sectors where the company has strong capabilities, including B2B SaaS, AI, climate technology, agriculture, marketing, public safety, and healthcare.
Application Process and Selection
Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply by December 20, 2024. The program is particularly suited to startups in the ideation or prototyping phase with a strong market vision. Approximately 30 applicants will enter the initial “Business Design” phase, a free, equity-free workshop that includes mentorship and hands-on guidance. From there, six to nine startups will be selected to join the full Elev X! Ignite program.
